You will not be stranded in the middle of mowing due to the fact the battery voltage on the AMP Rider electric mower is constantly monitored. When the voltage reaches a low level, the blades will automatically turn off. However, the traction motor will continue to run, allowing you to drive back to your charger before the batteries are exhausted.

9. What maintenance is required?

The blades will need to be sharpened on average every two years depending on the volume of mowing you do. The single hydrostatic belt will last season after season. Battery life and run time will begin to deteriorate after 200 charge/discharge cycles and will need to be replaced.
